1. Charging Precautions
● Use a Dedicated Charger: Always use the original charger matched with the explosion-proof light and battery model, or an officially recommended one. An incompatible charger may cause undercharging, overcharging, and even fire or explosion.
2. Control the Charging Environment
● Charge in a safe, well-ventilated, and dry environment, keeping away from flammable and explosive materials.
● The ambient temperature of the charging area should be between 0°C and 40°C. Avoid charging at excessively high or low temperatures, as this can severely damage battery performance and lifespan.
3. Avoid Overcharging and Deep Discharging
● Although Ni-CD batteries are more tolerant of overcharging than lithium-ion batteries, prolonged continuous overcharging (e.g., charging for over 24 hours) will accelerate battery aging, potentially leading to leakage or swelling.
● Disconnect the power promptly after charging is complete. Similarly, avoid allowing the battery to fully discharge to zero before recharging; it is best to initiate charging when the low battery indicator on the light activates.
